Tango Music Jam with Homer Ladas

The UCSD Argentine Tango Club invites you to participate in the Tango Music Jam led by Homer Ladas, who will be providing a hands-on introduction to Tango music for musicians.  Spectators are more than welcome to attend.

Date & Time:  Sunday, February 24th at 6:00 - 8:00 pm

Location:  Price Center Ballroom

Cost:  Free

Details:  The format involves musicians playing a tango piece or two with Homer's guidance on arrangement/rhythm/execution/etc.  The goal is to play it so that dancers can enjoy dancing to it.  As an extra learning tool we will listen to a sample recording of classic tango music, talk about it, and then try 'stylistically' to emulate it.
